A special workshop for parents was organized on June 4, 2008 with Professor Iram Siraj-Blatchford, Professor of Early Childhood Education at the Institute of Education, University of London, shared with the audience her insights into "Bridging the gap between home and school: Fostering bilingual competence and confidence". More that 200 parents, teachers, academics and ECE professionals participated in the workshop.
