With an initiative to promote traditional Chinese culture, the HKSAR Government invited Chi Lin Nunnery to develop the Nan Lian Garden , a classical landscape garden in the naturalistic style. The Garden is designed as a garden in the style of the Tang Dynasty, a classical circulatory landscape garden based on the blue print of the Jiangshouju Garden in Shanxi Province , the shape of which bears a close resemblance to the Garden site.
Guided tours will take you around the garden including a tea demonstration session. The tours will be conducted in different languages such as English, Putonghua, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese and so on. After the tours, Chi Lin Vegetarian Dinner will be served in Long Men Lou. More… |
